Le Dérot Moulinage : tous les plaisirs de la Drôme réunis dans nos Chambres d'Hôtes.
4 rooms are available for our guests. They all bear a name related to spinning: Tavelle, Bobine (Reel), Pelote (Ball) and Quenouille (Distaff).

The room Tavelle.

Chambre d'hôte le dérot - Tavelle« Tavelles » are wooden pieces that were used to unwind the silk in the natural silk factories in Ardèche around the 1930’s. The “tavelle” which is pictured is wound with natural silk.
Tavel is a 38 m² room built on 2 levels. The first level (14 m²), called the "Day" level is arranged as a living room where the sofa can comfortably accommodate 2 people. Table and chairs allow people who are here for a long stay to enjoy a quiet and spacious place to work or relax. The window of this level overlooks the hill to the west. On this level the sofa and armchairs can be converted in beds to transform the room in a large family room.
The second level (24 m²) called is called the “night” level: a room with en-suite facilities (shower, toilet). A frieze of small pebbles from the Gervanne echoes the river that can be viewed from the roof window.

Furniture of character and excellent bedding (2 twin beds 90cm x190cm), equip this room: chair, sofa and writing table.
Even with this furniture, the room remains spacious and can comfortably accommodate a cot that we make available on request.
